Jack Frost
New Musical Features Multi-Cultural Holiday Celebrations, Sing-A-Longs and Snow!
ON TOUR late November and December

2005 Connecticut Children's Theatre is proud to announce the launch of a limited holiday tour of the original holiday musical, "Jack Frost." This musical is written especially for Pre-K through 3rd Grade children and it promotes acceptance and tolerance towards all races, religions and celebrations.

Four best friends from Brooklyn, Ben, Jan, Eddy and Jake, are each from a different cultural and religious background. During this rollicking holiday adventure the kids teach Jack Frost a little about the holiday traditions of Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Ramadan. The incomparable Jack Frost, in turn, helps to save the holidays from the no-good Mr. Fredrick Flambe. "Jack Frost" is full of original Motown-style songs, sing-a-longs from each celebration and culture and is a fun-filled introduction to perhaps, some not-so-familiar holiday celebrations. With everything going on in the world today, "Jack Frost" is a sure way to promote tolerance and acceptance during the holiday season.

The cast of six top singers and actors include David Dotterer, Matthew Trombetta, Denise Johnson, Correy West, Melody Moore and Mike Hedges. The show is directed by Jerry Goehring with book, lyrics and music by Patty Carver and musical arrangements by John Bowen. A promotional DVD is available upon request.
